Hard Rock Bet is two different products depending on which side of the Florida line you stand. In Florida it is the only legal online sportsbook, full stop: its own Florida page says so, and the reason is a thirty-year gaming compact between the state and the Seminole Tribe of Florida — which is the operating entity there — granting the tribe exclusive statewide mobile betting. Everywhere else it operates, the entity is Seminole Hard Rock Digital, LLC, and it competes with everyone. The app listing names the ten states where it is live: Arizona, Colorado, Florida, Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, New Jersey, Ohio, Tennessee and Virginia, 21+ and physically present.

The App Store rates the sportsbook app 4.9 from 342,000 ratings, which is as high as any betting app gets. The six reviews quoted on this page are less flattering, and they are worth more because five of them are real App Store reviews from July 2026 rather than editorials. Three of the five are about the same thing: money going in easily and coming out hard. One reviewer says Hard Rock Bet is "refusing to allow me to withdraw my deposited money" after previously having withdrawn without issue, now demanding statements; another describes a smooth signup and a winning first bet, then "suddenly there were many" obstacles at withdrawal; a third never received the welcome bonus bets because of what support called a glitch. "Poor customer service" is the most-cited con, three times, with "account verification issues" and "technical issues" twice each. The two five-star reviews praise the interface and the odds boosts.

The welcome offer, per the Florida page, is Bet $5, Get $100 — but read the mechanics: the $100 arrives as five separate $20 bonus bets over five weeks, and each one expires seven days after it is issued. Miss a week and that slice is gone. It is a retention offer wearing a welcome offer's clothes, and it is why one of the reviews here is a complaint about bonus bets that never arrived.

If you are in Florida, this is your sportsbook whether you like it or not, and the state's compact means it will be for a long time. If you are in one of the other nine states, the 4.9 App Store rating is real and so are the withdrawal complaints; the reviews here suggest verifying your identity in full before you deposit, not after you win.
