PrizePicks is a useful option for eligible US sports fans who prefer making selections about individual athletes' statistics. Its Player Picks format asks whether a player will finish above or below a listed projection, with selections combined into a fantasy lineup. Readers who already follow passing yards, scoring or other player statistics have a direct way to compare their expectations with the available projections.

The standard Player Picks instructions allow two to six selections across sports and stat types, with athletes from at least two teams. Colorado residents must select at least three projections. The ability to combine sports may appeal to someone following several leagues, while the lineup restrictions help define which combinations can actually be submitted.

A recent addition makes smaller lineups more flexible. PrizePicks announced two-pick Flex entries on 18 September 2026. For the standard projections in its example, two correct picks pay twice the entry fee, while one correct pick returns half. On a $10 entry, those outcomes mean a $20 return or a $5 return respectively. The latter is still a $5 net loss, even though funds come back to the account.

Demons and Goblins provide another choice within Player Picks. The help centre describes Demons as harder projections with higher potential payouts and Goblins as easier projections with lower multipliers. These are changes to both the target and payout, so compare the complete lineup's displayed return before submitting rather than choosing from the icon alone.

The US iPhone and iPad app also offers Team and Culture Picks, with availability differing by product and state. Those are event-contract products distinct from Player Picks' daily fantasy format. PrizePicks' strongest fit here is player-stat selection with a choice of lineup structures and projection difficulty; confirm that the specific contest and entry format are available where you are.
