Sky Bet

Sky Bet is worth comparing for British football bettors who already build match-result accumulators. AccaFreeze lets an eligible customer settle one selection as a winner while its team is leading, even if that team later loses. For someone following several fixtures, that offers a specific way to manage one part of an accumulator during play.

The feature has defined limits. The current help page requires at least five selections placed before kick-off in Full Time Result markets on selected football competitions, with a maximum stake of £20. One leg can be frozen per bet, and use is limited to three freezes per week. A draw selection can count towards eligibility but cannot itself be frozen.

Check the bet format carefully: enhanced accumulators and accumulators containing BuildABets do not qualify. Availability also depends on eligible markets and live coverage, so a freeze cannot be assumed to remain available throughout a match. The other legs still need to succeed; freezing one selection does not settle the whole accumulator as a winner.

Sky Bet's British iPhone and iPad app adds My Bets tracking, showing bet status and match statistics alongside available cash-out options. This is useful for readers who want to follow an existing bet's progress in the same place they placed it. BuildABet provides a separate option for combining selections from supported football markets, with its own eligibility.

Racing followers also have Bet & Watch, which the app describes as access to live UK and Irish racing after a qualifying wager; selected football matches are included too. Check the qualifying amount for the event. Sky Bet's clearest appeal is this combination of accumulator management, bet tracking and viewing access. Compare those features against the bets you normally place, without adding selections simply to unlock AccaFreeze.
